Andrew McGuire, Executive Director of Health Care for All – California, spoke at our September 4th meeting, describing the difference between the plans getting all the press and real, single-payer, universal health care. After his presentation and a lively Q & A, the membership voted to endorse Sheila Kuehl’s bill. Now that the Club has endorsed SB 840, we can actively promote the campaign to get it passed.
