Membership

You may join our club as a regular voting member if you are a registered Democrat, pay $25 annual dues, and reside in the Potrero Hill/Dogpatch area of San Francisco (Potrero Avenue east to SF Bay, Cesar Chavez north to Division/King Streets [map] ). Only club members can participate in endorsement votes.

You may join as an affiliate non-voting member for $20 annual dues if you live outside the Potrero Hill/Dogpatch area of San Francisco.

  PHDC Endorsement Meeting
  Time: 7:00 pm
  Members will vote to endorse candidates, and a few no-brainer state propositions (Props 23, 25, 26). Candidates for Board of Education, Community College Board, and Assessor-Recorder will speak briefly and answer questions. Regular members in good standing (new members must have joined at least 60 days before voting) will vote on all candidates on the Nov 2nd ballot. Members' endorsement ballots will be counted at the end of the meeting. Endorsement requires 60% of votes cast. at 7:00 pm

  The meeting place is Warm Water Cove, 24th St and Illinois St, from 9AM to noon. Register with PHDC's group by calling 648-6740 or emailing contact_us@phdemclub.org Sponsored by Ocean Conservancy, Save the Bay, Literacy for Environmental Justice and others. For your enjoyment and safety on Coastal Cleanup Day, please remember to dress in layers for San Francisco weather and be ready for a cleanup. We recommend the following: Dress in layers Long pants Closed toe shoes Hats Sunblock And to further reduce your environmental footprint for the day, and only if you ALREADY have these items ready for a cleanup (please DO NOT buy these items new as we will provide them if you forget or do not have them in your household), please participate in our BYO campaign. Bring Your Own: Bottle - reusable for drinking water Bucket or Bag - reusable throughout the day for picking up trash Gloves - sturdy gloves for protecting your hands Thanks and everybody at LEJ is excited to see you on Coastal Cleanup Day! at 9:00 am

  California Democratic Council's 2010 Annual Convention is September 25/26 in San Francisco. This year's convention will be geared towards GOTV with workshops and speakers focused on projects and techniques that will help you increase voter turnout during those last crucial 30 days.Click to register.
